Mother

All my words seem to fail
In my trials to explain
How deep and tenderly loving
She is, Oh! yes to me.

In my eyes she's the world, Utopia;
So perfect as can be
Or rather Da Vinci's Mona Lisa
With eyes so brightly majestic embracing me.
Artists inspiration, Oh, what Grace!
In my eyes she's the force;
Gravity to pull me back to sanity
If ever I drift or fall.

I do thank God for granting me the gift;
Mother, she has made my life worthwhile.
