A lifetime Journey

I traveled far and wide
In search for a desire
That was made to inspire
The soul to aspire
And the mind to acquire
New horizons as power.

I was eight months and my tears
Were the only echo of my fears,
When I first started a journey of years;
Through London, Italy, Austria, Germany and Greece,
Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Kuwait and Qatar,
Remembering France and the States.

Each and every one of them
A gem so precious to remember
With goals to achieve,
Memories and dreams;
Dreams to realize,
And memories to hang on to when down
A lifetime journey that molded me.

Now, viewing that portrait from afar
I appreciate and value
Every thorn that made me bleed
And every rose that made me bloom and blossom
Every moment that made me freeze
And every other that made me bleed
Every day and every night
Every winter and every summer
My rainy days and sunny ones
Every moonlight that inspired me
Every sunlight that woke me up
Every beat and every rhyme
The gift from above,
The faith within;
The lantern in the caravan of my life
