THE SEARCH
Feelings of perplexity mingle in the heart and mind,
A strange ocean of thought with a low and high tide,
A quest for the best and a refusal of any less,
Is what makes the search a little hard and tough.
Imagine a world of deep serenity;
Where anxiety is forgotten
And dreams are all begotten,
A world where truth exists
And lies perish in mist,
Where hopes and dreams come true
and the rules for thee might be:
Conquer the bad, try to be strong.
Never give in for he who's wrong.
Defend the poor, orphan and child.
Have mercy on him who's sick an' old.
Remember that love is the only code,
Whereby to achieve the only goal,
Of a world so right, yes a world so bright.
