CRIME IN THE COURT OF JUSTICE!

(May your soul rest in peace Marwa)

By Hala El-Banna

In the Name of Justice

In the Name of Humanity

In the Name of Freedom

And that of PEACE

In the Name of Rights

In the Name of Civilization

In the Name of Dignity

And that of Equality

In the Name of Honour

What on Earth is committed!

BRUTALITY has shown its ugly Face

And where was that?

In Dresden in the Court of Justice!

Marwa was simply an ELEGANT BEAUTIFUL SOUL

Who stood up for her RIGHTS!

This poem is dedicated to the Mrs. Marwa El-Sherbini who was killed in a German court in Dresden by a racist man in early July 2009.

ETHICS IN CRISIS
ECONOMY IN CRISIS

By Hala El-Banna

When ethics was in crisis

Some time ago,

Nobody bothered much

It was no ones concern

No big deal, they'd say!

Nobody could see it coming

No one could relate

As if humans were transformed "Robots"

Brain washed "Economics"

Forgetting that the true solid base

Of any progress on Earth

Be it economy, politics whatever is on

Ethics, credibility,

Trust and honour

A simple basic fact, I'd say
