LETTERS
I happened to pop in to your online magazine, http://www.ambassadors.net. I enjoyed the variety of articles. Congratulations ! But I want to bring your attention to your notes appeared in the column "Letters from the Chief Editor"--Volume 6, Issue 2,July 2003,under the title "Cutyboy the Persian Dubai Cat." As you I too was skeptical till I tested the cat myself. There are some methods to get the answers from CutyBoy He gave correct answers to all my questions (Math problems/ General Knowledge) which were ignorant to his owner. As a teacher who handles hundreds of students each year, I have never met a student who can be called a PRODIGY. But CutyBoy is really amazing ! You wrote..." I am personally very skeptical of the story of the allegedly genius cat, since it lacks scientific evidence. Right now it remains a fictitious story until the cat is assessed critically in an academic veterinary center." Doctor, this statement of yours seems inappropriate because CutyBoy has been tested by psychologists, teachers, doctors and journalists and the owner has all the records of the TESTS given by the above said people. I request you not to underestimate the Cat Genius CutyBoy. Please try to know more about CutyBoy and his abilities.Kennie Johns

I think that the new issue of Ambassadors e-journal looks very attractive, and I look forward to reading all of the interesting articles. The Publication Editor did a very fine job of editing my article, and I am quite pleased with its appearance in the new issue of the magazine. Thank you for inviting me to submit it.

I noticed that Indian Republic day - Jan 26 is stated as the Indian National Day on the Ambassador Magazine website. Aug 15 - India's Independence Day is our National Day. I also noticed that Aug 14 - Pakistan's Independence Day has been left and March 23rd has been stated. If it is the framing of the constitution you had in mind then July 4th wouldn't be US's National Day.

Common spices and herbs contain ingredients that may prevent the formation of major tumors, such as intestinal and prostate cancers, according to research presented today at the American Association for Cancer Research's Second Annual International Conference on Frontiers in Cancer Prevention Research. In particular, recent studies are showing notable cancer prevention potential for the use of ginger extract and a traditional Chinese medicinal herb.

Two years ago, In an article in the Ambassadors online magazine , you wrote ''One of Imam al-Badr's advisors and friend, colonel Bruce Bonde expected that Yemen would disintegrate as soon as the Egyptians were gone. This turned out to be wrong since the Yemenis bravely defended their country and Imam al-Badr was the last of a dynasty that ruled for more than 1000 years in Yemen. He left with his father-in-law, Yahya Al-Hirsi to live in Britain. The detailed story of major general Bruce Bonde will be published in the next issue.'' But for the life of me I can't find the ''detailed story'' you promised. Was it published anywhere else. I have an abiding interest in Yemen's history and would be very interested to read it.

Letter from the Chief Editor

In January 2004, both The Ambassadors Research Foundation and Ambassadors Magazine will be celebrating their 6th anniversary with more than 300,000 visitors. The updated Ambassadors Search Database is a very helpful tool for researchers all over the world interested in studying different cultures and civilizations. This issue also witnesses the creation of a new section entitled "Educators Without Borders" ensuring that the magazine has a message that goes beyond entertainment.
However, as this anniversary issue of the magazine goes
to publication, world has been hit by a series of natural disasters and
conflicts with tragic losses in human life in Iran, China, the Philippines,
Benin, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Israel, and California. We pray that this
year will bring more global peace than years past. Thanks to all those who helped
in the success of this free non-profit project, wishing them all Happy Holidays and
a Happy New Year 2004.
- Dr. T. I. Farag
