CANADIAN PHARMACEUTICALS IN MIDDLE
EASTERN AND SOUTH AMERICAN MARKETS
Dr. R. Ghally Ph.D., the president of the Canadian pharmaceutical distributors "ICEC Pharmaceuticals" is studying the possibility of establishing a new factory for Canadian drugs in Cairo. He mentioned that this will facilitate the production and distribution of both human and veterinary drugs at lower costs for a target consumer market of 300 million in Africa, the Arab nations and Middle Eastern countries.
Dr. Ghally, with an extensive industry and marketing strategy, hopes to build this project in cooperation with the renowned "RAN International Company" in Egypt, the prime distributor of ICEC, VETMAR, and HIPRA products (Canadian, British and Spanish pharmaceutical manufacturers).
In a communication with the General Director for ICEC Pharmaceuticals in Toronto, Mr. I. Ghally told The Ambassadors that the company is also considering a similar venture to establish a second factory in a yet-undecided South American location.
